FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the custom build process work? It starts with a conversation. You can submit a build request / fill out the form on the Custom Build page with your budget, what you'll use the PC for, and any preferences you have. I'll put together a parts list, we'll go back and forth until you're happy with it, and then I build, test, and ship it. I can give you a build shipment date after we finalize the build.
Can I supply my own parts? Yes, if you've already got a specific GPU or case you want to use, we can work that into the build. Just let me know upfront so I can plan around compatibility and make sure everything fits and performs the way it should. Customer-supplied parts are not covered under my build warranty.
What's covered under warranty? Custom builds and new full PCs come with a 1-year warranty covering defects in assembly and component failure under normal use. If something goes wrong, reach out and I'll diagnose the issue and get it sorted — whether that means walking you through a fix, shipping a replacement part, or having the system sent back for repair. See the full [Warranty & Refund Policy] for details.
What's the return policy on parts and used prebuilts? Individual parts and used prebuilt systems have a 30-day return window. If the item arrives damaged or isn't as described, you'll get a full refund or replacement. If you're returning for any other reason (changed your mind, wrong spec, etc.), a restocking fee applies and the item must be in the same condition it was shipped in.
Do you ship internationally? Currently I only ship within the continental US. International shipping may be available for certain items — reach out and I'll see what I can do. Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
What payment methods do you accept? All major credit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay through our Shopify store. For custom builds, a 50% deposit is required upfront with the balance due before shipping.
How are PCs packaged for shipping? Every build is shipped with the GPU removed and packaged separately to prevent damage in transit. Systems are packed in high-density foam inside double-walled boxes. I've shipped hundreds of builds — packaging is something I take very seriously.
What if I have a problem after the sale? Reach out. I'm a one-person operation, which means you're talking directly to the person who built your machine. I respond to every message and I don't disappear after the sale. For warranty-covered issues, I'll work with you to get it resolved as quickly as possible.
